Today is the Day of Salvation
If you have heard the Gospel and God is speaking to your heart today, then please do not delay. "For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured [helped] thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation"
(II Corinthians 6:2).
Respond to God's call by crying out to the Lord, repenting of your sins, and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. And please, come just as you are; Jesus
will clean up your life as you faithfully seek and follow Him. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door,
I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me""He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal""For
(Mark 8:36).
Count the Cost
Once you become a disciple of Jesus, the world will become your enemy. Jesus said, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye
(John 15:18-19). Therefore, please count the cost before deciding to follow Jesus. "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after
(Luke 14:28-30).
Salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned through works or penance.
However, receiving this gift will truly cost you. If you accept God's offer of salvation through Jesus Christ, you must turn away from the sinful ways and vain pleasures of the world. Jesus said, "No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God"
(Luke 9:62). You cannot love both God
and the world, for no man can serve two masters (Luke 16:13). And, "whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (II Timothy 3:12).
Consider the Reward
Thankfully, there is an eternal inheritance awaiting those who follow Jesus no matter the cost. Jesus said, "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven""Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in
(Luke 6:22-23).
Our temporary sufferings for Jesus' sake work for us a "far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory""Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
(John 14:17-18). This world will continue to have chaos, but those who know and love Jesus will experience His inner peace and joy. "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).
Believe the Gospel and Repent
If you would like to receive God's gracious invitation of salvation, then do so with all of your heart. "And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us"
(Acts 15:8). Simply believe the good news of Jesus Christ, then verbally confess to God and turn away from your sins (repent), and you will be born again as a child of God. This is the beginning of your salvation.
When you repent, God forgives your sins and cleanses you from all unrighteousness. When you believe on His only begotten Son Jesus (Yeshua) as your Savior, He baptizes you into Christ, makes you a new creation, and the Spirit of Christ dwells in your heart (Romans 8:9). When you continue in the faith, read His Word, and grow in Him daily, He reveals Himself to
you, shares His love, joy, peace, and life with you, and gives you victory over sin by the power of His Holy Spirit. If your faith endures to the end, God the Father will grant you an eternal inheritance with His Son Jesus.
The Bible does not mention any specific sinner's prayer, but there are several instances where a prayer of faith and repentance was spoken to the Lord (see Luke 18:13-14; Luke 23:40-42; John 9:35-38). Sometimes those who respond to the Gospel need a sample prayer of confession, repentance, and faith to help guide them in talking to God. This is why we have included such a prayer below, which you may use when receiving Jesus as your Savior (see Romans 10:9-10). Please note: it's not about saying all the right words; it is repentance and faith that matters. "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking" (Matthew 6:7). Only a personal relationship with Jesus (Yeshua) and the indwelling of His Holy Spirit will save you.
Take the initial step of faith today and receive God's free gift of salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Then, demonstrate your faith (see James 2:20) by walking in obedience to the Lord and becoming His disciple. "And in that
(Isaiah 12:1-3).day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of
salvation"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" (II Corinthians 4:17). In addition, the Holy Spirit gives comfort to those who follow Jesus through trials and tribulations: that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets" (Matthew 5:10). He also said, (James 4:4). This is why "all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution"he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, 'This man began
to build, and was not able to finish'"were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you"what shall it profit a man, if he shall
gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (John 12:25). (Revelation 3:20). Don't waste any more time driving aimlessly down the empty, self-serving highway of life, for it leads to destruction.

Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner. I believe that Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross, died for my sins, and rose again on the third day. I am truly sorry for the deeds which I have committed against You, and therefore, I am willing to repent (turn away from my sins). Have mercy on me, a sinner. Cleanse me, and forgive me of my sins as I forgive anyone who has ever sinned against me.
.
Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. With my heart, I believe that God the Father raised His Son Jesus from the dead. This very moment I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and according to His Word, right now I am born again. Thank You, Jesus, for coming into my life and hearing my prayer. I ask all of this in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
