Thousands of people converged at the George R. Brown Convention Center on Saturday, June 19, for the 2010 Hurricane Workshop, presented by the Houston/Galveston National Weather Service. The free family preparedness event included exhibitors, give-aways, informative break-out sessions and an interactive Kids Zone – featuring the 11 News Weather Team, Gene Norman and yes, Shahni Jones of New Deliverance Fellowship Ministries, Inc.
